Kate, een vrouwelijke huwelijksmakelaar uit New York, heeft het financieel lastig. Ze wordt ingehuurd door een koning en moet op zoek naar een vrouw voor zijn zoon. Kate, die niet lang de tijd heeft om een geschikte vrouw voor de prins te vinden, komt tot de conclusie dat zij verliefd op hem is en dat zij misschien zélf de ware voor hem is.
