Kroatië, januari 1992. Tijdens het Joegoslavische conflict wordt Chris, een jonge Zwitserse journalist, in mysterieuze omstandigheden vermoord. Zijn lijk wordt gevonden, gekleed in het uniform van een buitenlandse militie.
