Als gevolg van de dood van haar man kampt Aisha met een depressie. Haar twee kinderen, een tienerdochter die te snel moet opgroeien, en een jongere zoon die op de rand van de criminaliteit balanceert, nemen de zorg voor haar op zich. Deze situatie zal een verwoestende impact hebben op hun levens.
