Anthologiefilm met drie verhalen die over seks gaan. In 'This' probeert Susan Stress, een wegkwijnende sekssymbool, de hoofdrol in een film te bemachtigen door de zoon van een filmproducent te verleiden. 'That' draait om George, een depressieve einzelgänger van middelbare leeftijd wiens zelfmoordpoging wordt onderbroken door de komst van een kinderlijk hippiemeisje. In het laatste verhaal, 'The Other', rijdt liefhebber van seksfilms en taxichauffeur Harold zijn wagen in de prak nadat hij is afgeleid door de charmes van zijn passagier. Na een klap op zijn hoofd krijgt Harold bizarre hallucinaties.
Nee, helaas is A Promise of Bed nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
