Omnimon confronteert Mephistomon (die werd gevormd uit de gegevens van Apocalymon) in een donkere hoek van de digitale wereld over de poging van Mephistomon om zowel de digitale wereld als de echte wereld te vernietigen en de gegevens op te nemen om echt onoverwinnelijk te worden. Ze vechten, maar dan ziet Mephistomon een kans en glipt hij de echte wereld binnen.
