Een jonge komiek voelt zich overschaduwd door zijn beroemde vader. Als de nieuwe act van de jonge komiek flopt in Las Vegas, keert hij terug naar zijn geboorteplaats. Terwijl hij op zoek is naar een nieuwe act, stuit hij op een paar familiegeheimen die nou niet bijster grappig zijn. Plotseling realiseert hij zich dat dit precies de ingrediënten zijn voor de nieuwe act die hij zoekt.
