De bekende countryzanger Bradley staat op het punt om te trouwen met de knappe actrice Catherine. Terwijl Bradley een intieme ceremonie wil, verkiest Catherine een chique feest. Voor het koppel in het huwelijksbootje stapt, keert Bradley nog één keer terug naar zijn geboortedorp, om het huis te verkopen waarin hij opgroeide. Zo komt hij opnieuw in contact met Sarah, zijn jeugdliefje. Het duurt niet lang voor de vonk opnieuw overslaat.
