Deze eerste Hollywoodfilm waarin alleen maar homoseksuele karakters voorkomen gaat over een aantal mannen die elkaar op de verjaardag van Harold ontmoeten. Naarmate het feestje vordert en de drankconsumptie toeneemt wordt de sfeer steeds grimmiger.
Nee, helaas is The Boys in the Band nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
