Pikelet brengt zijn dagen door met zijn beste vriend Loonie, wat een toepasselijke naam is voor zijn uitbundige en wilde persoonlijkheid. Als ze geen kattenkwaad op school uithalen zijn ze in de natuur, constant op zoek naar avontuur en bezig elkaar te overtreffen in een reeks van huiveringwekkende stunts. Maar als ze de charismatische en mysterieuze waaghals Sando ontmoeten worden hun ogen geopend en lijkt de horizon eindeloos. Terwijl Sando de jongens tot het uiterste drijft begint Pikelet verliefd te worden op Sando's vrouw, Eva.
