Holt Farrier was ooit een succesvolle circusartiest tot hij naar het front trok ten tijde van de oorlog en als een veranderd man terugkeerde. Hij wordt ingehuurd door circuseigenaar Max Medici om voor de pasgeboren olifant Dumbo te zorgen, die over enorme oren beschikt en hierdoor het mikpunt van spot is.
Nee, helaas is Dumbo nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
