Nadat zijn vriendin en tevens collega Amanda hem dumpt en de begeerde promotie naar zijn collega Max gaat gaan de zaken voor de zachtaardige Evan Sanders van kwaad tot erger. Nog herstellend van de teleurstelling komen Evan en zijn zijn beste vriend Tim er achter dat Max de leider is van een team van vampiers.
