Plot

Elna Curry, ooit een concertpianiste, ontwikkelt een ongegronde jaloezie jegens haar buurvrouw Trudie Morrow. Elna, die aan neurasthenie lijdt, is van mening dat Trudie een affaire heeft met haar man John. Ze zweert wraak op Trudie. John legt Trudie uit wat er met Elna aan de hand is. De goedhartige Trudie vertelt John dat ze zal gaan verhuizen. Op een avond keert John laat terug van zijn werk en ontdekt dat Elna dood is.
