Wanneer er chaos uitbreekt in Camp Yellow Jacket, wordt Adam wakker in een dichtgetimmerde hut met geen enkel idee wie of waar hij is. De enige aanwijzingen voor wat er gebeurt zijn de aantekeningen die hij op de muur heeft gekrabbeld en de verontrustende fysieke transformatie die hij zal moeten overwinnen. De enige herinneringen die hij nog heeft zijn niet die van zichzelf, maar vormen wellicht wel de sleutel tot het overleven.
