Wanneer vijandige buitenaardse wezens neerstorten op lokale landbouwgrond, worden de dorpelingen op het zomerbal achterdochtig wanneer jonge vrouwen vermist raken. De dorpelingen scharen zich al snel rond onze held Melchoir om de buitenaardse indringers af te weren en de rust terug te brengen op het slaperige Engelse platteland.
