Het zit de voormalige American-Football ster Harry Joplin de laatste tijd niet mee, zowel wat zijn carrière aangaat, als zijn huwelijk met Kathy. Harry lijkt steeds minder overtuigd te zijn van zijn capaciteiten. Desondanks laat hij een kans om mee te spelen met een benefiet American-Football wedstrijd niet voorbij gaan. Deze deelname lijkt Harry te helpen zijn leven in een nieuw licht te zien.
