De excentrieke multimiljonair Jacob de With sluit een overeenkomst om zichzelf naar de andere wereld te laten helpen. Bij het uitzoeken van zijn doodskist ontmoet hij een jonge vrouw die precies hetzelfde contract heeft getekend. Als de twee op elkaar verliefd worden, willen ze onder de deal uit en raken ze in grote problemen.
