Pikachu en zijn Pokémon-vrienden komen samen voor een heel bijzondere gebeurtenis: de Mythische Pokémon Meloetta geeft een keer per jaar een optreden op Lunatone Rock! Terwijl de volle maan opkomt, ontspruit de Melodieboom uit het podium en groeien de Melodiebessen die het lied van Meloetta versterken. Maar wanneer er een gevecht uitbreekt in het publiek, zijn de Melody Berries wijd en zijd verspreid! Kunnen Pikachu en de anderen deze speciale bessen opsporen, zodat Meloetta’s show door kan gaan – en kunnen ze ze vinden voordat Meowth dat doet?
