Miles (Max Irons) en Alistair (Sam Claflin), twee eerstejaarsstudenten op de Oxford University, krijgen de gelegenheid om toe te treden tot een exclusieve eetclub genaamd 'the Riot Club'. Een wereld waarin de heldere, bevoorrechte en rijke mens de eerste stappen zet in zijn toekomstige heerschappij. Op een verdorven en decadent avondje uit, nodigen de leiders van de club hen uit te laten zien of ze hebben wat er nodig is om tot hun wereld te behoren.
