Na jaren een oogje gehad te hebben op zijn buurmeisje besluit Arnie eindelijk zijn stoute schoenen aan te trekken. Maar dan blijkt April, het meisje van zijn dromen, verhuist te zijn waardoor Artie in een diepe depressie terechtkomt. Drie jaar later besluit hij April te gaan zoeken. Vol enthousiasme begint hij aan zijn zoektocht maar dan raakt hij betrokken bij een auto-ongeluk Een week later wordt hij wakker te midden van een zombie-uitbraak. Het is nu aan Artie om al zijn moed bij elkaar te rapen om April te vinden, ongeacht de kannibalistische wezens die zijn pad kruisen.
Nee, helaas is April Apocalypse nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
