De ooit zo veelbelovende politieagente Young-nam wordt na een reeks incidenten overgeplaatst naar een slaperig stadje aan de kust. Op de eerste dag ontmoet ze de 14-jarige Dohee, een eenzaam en vreemd meisje dat mishandeld wordt door haar alcoholistische stiefvader. Om haar te beschermen neemt Young-nam het meisje in huis. Aanvankelijk gaat dat goed.
Nee, helaas is Dohee-ya nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
