Een dodelijk zieke 10-jarige jongen droomt ervan de mythische Blue Morpho te vangen, de mooiste vlinder op aarde. Zijn moeder haalt een kenner over hen mee te nemen op een reis door de jungle om de vlinder te zoeken. Het zal leiden tot een avontuur dat hun leven volledig zal veranderen. Gebaseerd op een waargebeurd verhaal.
