Rafa, een stand-up comedian uit Sevilla, wordt verliefd op een Baskisch meisje Amaia. Met als doel haar te verleiden, kiest hij om haar achterna te reizen tot in Spaans Baskenland. Hij slaagt in zijn opzet met de verloving tot gevolg. Nu de bruiloft is aangekondigd wil Amaia haar vader, een vurig Baskisch nationalist, niet teleurstellen. Daarom smeekt ze Rafa om voor drie dagen te doen alsof hij Bask is.
