Bloemist en weduwnaar Lewis wordt plotsklaps verliefd op Liza Walker en stuurt haar elke dag en bos rozen. Zij bezwijkt voor zijn charmes, maar evident wordt hun relatie niet. Lizzie blijkt een dwangmatige workaholic die nog met heel wat demonen uit haar verleden af te rekenen heeft.
