Stephanie stort in een plas bloed tijdens een skireisje op school. Een arts ontdekt dat het bloed de nawerking is van een bevalling. Kort daarna wordt het lichaam van een pasgeboren baby gevonden in een toilet, de mond geblokkeerd met toiletpapier. Ondanks dat Stephanie volhoudt dat haar kind doodgeboren was en dat ze geen idee had dat ze zwanger was, wordt ze gearresteerd voor de moord op het kind.
