Pete Bell is basketbalcoach aan de Western University, maar voor het eerst in jaren heeft zijn team, de Dolphins, geen enkele wedstrijd gewonnen. Het is daarom moeilijk om nieuwe spelers aan te trekken, dus moet Pete twee jonge talenten van buitenaf smeren met auto's en geld - ook al druist dit in tegen alle principes van Pete.
