Bang om zijn badge kwijt te raken stemt een rechercheur uit de grote stad er mee in om een sheriff uit een dorpje te helpen met een routine klus betreffende een stel vermiste personen. Hij ontdekt dat de afgelopen twee decennia elk jaar minstens één meisje verdwijnt in het slaperige vissersdorpje Grizzly Cove. Met slechts weinig tijd en te weinig manschappen moeten ze het mysterie zien op te lossen voordat ze hetzelfde lot ondergaan.
