Als kinderen waren de blanke Rhino en de zwarte Zulu vrienden in het door apartheid verscheurde Zuid-Afrika. Maar door toedoen van Rowena, een harteloze vamp van tien jaar oud, veranderde hun vriendschap in een bittere broederstrijd. Nu, vijfentwintig jaar later, zijn beide heren aan lager wal geraakt, waarna ze elkaar weer tegenkomen. Ook Rowena is weer van de partij.
