Damien (Nick Nevern) is een Londense agent die na een moeilijke jeugd bij de politie is gekomen. In zijn vrije tijd is hij een voetbalhooligan en tijdens zijn dienst neemt hij het niet zo nauw met de regels. Als in de zomer van 2011 de spanningen oplopen in Londen, probeert Damien zijn woede onder controle te houden, terwijl hij een relatie probeert aan te knopen met Louise (Kellie Shirley), een nieuwe agent die toegewezen is als zijn partner.
