Een groep probleemjongeren wordt ontvoerd en achtergelaten in de woestijn van Utah. Daar worden ze onderworpen aan een meedogenloos 'wildernis-therapieprogramma'. Afgesneden van de buitenwereld moeten ze zowel de elementen als de psychologische spelletjes van een leider zien te overleven, die misschien helemaal niet van plan is hen te redden.
