James is de kleinzoon van Geppetto. Zijn grootvader stelt hem voor aan een schijnbaar magische pop om beste vrienden te worden. Maar omdat hij zich niet bewust is van Pinokkio's naïeve aard, leidt de introductie van James aan de wereld ertoe dat de pop op kruistocht gaat om alles wat "slecht" is uit te roeien.
Nee, helaas is Pinocchio: Unstrung nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
