Mike, een jongeman die het moeilijk heeft, neemt een baan aan als nachtwaker in het verlaten themarestaurant Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria in de hoop dat hij daarmee de voogdij over zijn zusje kan houden. Maar door die beslissing belandt hij diep in een duistere, bovennatuurlijke nachtmerrie.
