Jerry Strong (Ralph Graves), de zoon van een rijke zakeman, wil het liefst kunstschilder worden. Hij huurt Kay Arnold (Barbara Stanwyck) in als model en wordt verliefd op haar. Ondanks haar minder mooie verleden, wil hij graag een relatie met haar, maar zijn ouders zijn daar natuurlijk fel op tegen.
