Twee echtscheidings-advocaten bestrijden elkaar veelvuldig voor de rechter, maar raken niettemin tot elkaar aangetrokken. Nadat ze getrouwd zijn is de vraag echter, of zij de huwelijksproblemen kunnen vermijden, die ze zo vaak zien in hun werk. Bovendien krijgen ze te maken met de veelbesproken zaak van een rock-ster die van zijn vrouw wil scheiden.
