Bri Collins en haar voormalige man Michael zijn veroordeeld voor effectenfraude. Hoewel hij achter de tralies zit, mag Bri haar straf van één jaar thuis uitzitten aan het meer. Verveling slaat op een gegeven moment om in angst als Bri vermoedt dat er een indringer in haar huis is geweest. Omdat de politie haar niet gelooft, besluit ze privédetective Xavier in te schakelen. Samen trachten ze te achterhalen wie haar kwelt.
