Sam wil niets liever dan erbij horen op haar Amerikaanse highschool en probeert haar Indiase familie en cultuur te verbergen. Tot Sams frustratie duikt haar oude beste vriendin Tamira ineens op met een mysterieuze glazen pot en begint zich steeds vreemder te gedragen. Sam is er klaar mee, gooit de pot stuk op de grond en daardoor wordt een eeuwenoude Indiase demoon ontketend. De gevolgen zijn gruwelijk en niemand is meer veilig. Kan Sam de demoon vernietigen en Tamira redden?
