Frankie is gestopt met het zoeken naar een man en heeft een hond geadopteerd, genaamd Tucker. Terwijl ze Tucker aan het uitlaten is, kruist ze het pad van Jack en zijn hond Dakota, waarna de twee zich tot elkaar aangetrokken voelen. Later ontmoeten Frankie en Jack elkaar opnieuw: Jack wordt de dierenarts van Tucker en Frankie krijgt van de lokale krant de opdracht om een artikel te schrijven over Jacks aankomende bruiloft. Zal de vonk tussen Frankie en Jack ondanks Jacks huwelijksaankondiging toch overslaan?
