Joe Burke is een dokter die ontvoerd wordt door buitenaardse wezens. Hij wordt getransporteerd naar een asteroïde, die bewaakt wordt door een mechanische wachter. Maar Burke, die de invasie van de aarde moet tegengaan, is niet alleen. Ook aanwezig op de asteroïde, zijn een gespannen accountant en een vrolijke oudere dame. Samen zullen ze de strijd aanbinden tegen het kwaad.
