Deze documentaire geeft een kijkje in een van de grote rivaliteiten in de geschiedenis van de National Football League, Raiders-legende Al Davis en voormalig NFL-commissaris Pete Rozelle. Hun strijd werd zo intens dat alle betrokkenen personages werden in een drie decennia lange Shakespeare-vete die het voetbal voor altijd veranderde. De film vertelt het verhaal vanaf het midden van de jaren 60, toen beiden in twee verschillende competitie, de NFL en AFL, opereerden.
