Plot

In 2001 werd Jack Cardiff (1914-2009) de eerste director of photography in de geschiedenis van de Academy Awards die een ere-Oscar won. Maar de eerste keer dat hij het beroemde beeldje in zijn hand klemde, was een halve eeuw eerder, toen zijn Technicolor-camerawerk werd bekroond voor Powell en Pressburger's Black Narcissus.
