De Canadese filmmaker Peter Wintonick was een harde werker die bovendien vaak van huis was om festivals over de hele wereld te bezoeken. In 2013 overleed hij na een kort ziekbed op zestige jarige leeftijd. Zijn dochter Mira bleef achter met een heleboel vragen en een doos vol met videomateriaal dat Peter maakte voor het project Utopia. Ze neemt zich voor om uit te zoeken wat voor film haar vader voor ogen had.
Nee, helaas is Wintopia nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
