In de Syrische provincie Al Ghouta, nabij Damascus, woedt de oorlog in al zijn hevigheid. Het leven is te gevaarlijk boven de grond. Diep onder het oppervlakte heeft een groep vrouwelijke artsen een ondergronds veldhospitaal opgericht. Onder toezicht van kinderarts Dr. Amani en haar staf van artsen en verpleegkundigen wordt de hoop hersteld van enkelen van de duizenden kinderen en burgerslachtoffers van de oorlog.
