De Malinese muzikante Inna Modja ziet hoe de Sahel, de regio waar ze vandaan komt, wordt geconfronteerd met klimaatverandering. Ze wil niet de andere kant op kijken en begint aan een bijzondere reis langs Afrika's Grote Groene Muur: een strook bomen en beplanting van 8.000 kilometer, helemaal van Senegal naar Djibouti. Eenmaal voltooid, zal het de grootste levende structuur op aarde zijn.
