Sarah O'Neill probeert te ontsnappen aan haar verleden en verhuist samen met haar zoontje Chris naar een afgelegen, landelijk dorpje in de buurt van een bos. Een angstaanjagende ontmoeting met iemand uit de buurt zorgt ervoor dat Sarah zich niet meer veilig voelt, waardoor zij te maken krijgt met paranoia en wantrouwen.
