Christie Parson lijdt aan vreselijke nachtmerries sinds haar vader is verdronken in het zwembad. Ze vermoedt dat zijn dood geen ongeluk was, maar haar moeder wil daar niets van weten. Als ze wordt aangevallen door iemand met een zwarte cape, volgen Christie en haar vriend Greg de belager naar het mortuarium. Dit leidt tot de waarheid over de dood van haar vader.
