De aankomst van een jong meisje in een klooster na de dood van haar ouders markeert het begin van een reeks gebeurtenissen die een kwaadaardige aanwezigheid ontketenen op het meisje en haar mysterieuze nieuwe vriend, een enigmatische figuur die bekend staat als Alucarda. Demonische bezetenheid, satanaanbidding en vampirisme volgen.
