Het verhaal van Chuck Holmes, een pornograaf uit San Francisco die filantroop werd. Holmes hielp bij het vormen en creëren van een homo-identiteit in de jaren na Stonewall, en werd later een belangrijke bijdrager aan homo belangengroepen zoals de Human Rights Campaign en het LGBT Victory Fund, om er later in zijn leven achter te komen dat hoewel zijn geld welkom was in filantropische kringen, hij dat soms niet was.
Nee, helaas is Seed Money: The Chuck Holmes Story nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
