Het verhaal gaat over drie verschillende koninkrijken ten tijde van de barok en hun respectieve vorsten. Er is de bittere zoektocht van een jaloerse koningin die het leven van haar man verbeurt. Dan zijn er twee mysterieuze zusters die verlangen naar de jeugd om de passie van een koning uit te lokken.
Nee, helaas is Il Racconto dei Racconti - Tale of Tales nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
