Jazz is een jonge man uit Davao wiens droombruiloft binnen handbereik is. Zijn Duitse vriend sinds elf maanden heeft een aanzoek gedaan. Omdat de wet in de Filipijnen het niet toestaat om te trouwen, zal hij naar Duitsland vliegen om daar in het huwelijksbootje te stappen. Om Duits te leren verhuist hij tijdelijk naar Manilla voor taallessen. Ondertussen weten zijn ouders van niets.
