Natuurdocumentaire die zich afspeelt in de wildernis van Alaska. De sociale diergemeenschap van beren wordt op de voet gevolgd middels een groep filmmakers die bivakkeert in het afgelegen landschap, waar de grizzlybeer in het wild leeft. Dit alles in de hoop meer te leren over de voor de mens vaak afschuwwekkende diersoort.
