Mallory is een documentairemaakster die met haar vriend Alex naar een afgelegen hut in de bergen gaat. Daar tracht ze zijn gewelddadige parasomnie te documenteren. Wanneer zijn toestand verslechtert, vermoedt Mallory dat er iets sinisters aan de hand is. Naarmate de nachtmerries escaleren, neemt ook de spanning voor Mallory toe.
